Bodyclocks, also known as sunrise simulators or dawn simulators, illuminate your bedroom like the morning sun. They signalize your biological clock that it will soon be time to stand up. By simulating the dawn the natural sunrise, starting from the first faint gleam until a room full of bright light, is imitated. The biological clock reacts to this stimulation by waking up; a faster growing light, however, would not cause this effect. Woken up so naturally, you will fell awaker, fresher and highly productive.

Some light alarm clocks can also be used as sleep aid. Therefore, the light is dimmed slowly during an adjustable space of time and thus helps you falling asleep smoothly, promotes a beneficial sleep, and contributes to fighting insomnia.
